STEP 1

Speak to a fundraising expert from our office. We will ask you a few questions to begin the process of tailor making a package to suit your school. Questions like:

• How many children attend the school?
• Have you held a school fundraising carnival before?
• If so when, and what was the feedback from parents?
• When were you thinking about holding this year’s carnival? (September and October are extremely popular, so dates will be difficult to secure).
• Would you consider holding the event in the early part of the year? (This is our off season and there are special offers we can provide!)

STEP 2

Through our office, organise a FREE SITE & SAFETY INSPECTION. That’s right, a specialist comes to you!

During this inspection, we’ll discuss the options available with regard to the access to your oval, overhead powerlines, overhanging trees, and buildings etc. We will even start working on the best possible layout for your event.

STEP 3

Book your package, receive a written contract, pay a deposit and receive the:

FREE MARKETING BLUEPRINT: Including templates for signage, for advertising posters, letters to parents, stall holders expressions of interest, sponsorship proposal, performers letters, and so on. (Valued at $500)

FREE SAFETY & RISK ASSESSMENT (Valued at $30)

FREE AMUSEMENT SITE PLAN (Valued at $120)

FREE WORKPLACE HEALTH AND SAFETY COMPLIANCE PAPERWORK

Option 1: “Straight Hire”

This is where your school pays for the rides that we’ll supply for your fundraiser. There is a huge selection of amusements to select from. You collect the money and you keep all of the profits. We will guide you with your selection of rides to ensure you maximise your earning potential.

A 25% deposit is due with the signing of the contract which means the rides will be held exclusively for your event, with the balance due at the conclusion of your event.

Option 2: “Revenue Share”

This is where your school pays NOTHING for the rides for your fundraiser. That’s right, the amusements come for FREE. We bring a selection of rides tailored for your event and the school receives 20% of the gross income raised.

A $500 holding deposit is due with the signing of the contract which reserves the rides exclusively held for your event, with the balance calculated and paid to you at the conclusion of your event.

To qualify for the ability to conduct a “revenue share” fete, your school must have either 500 PLUS children enrolled, and/or the ability to provide us with satisfactory past fete attendance information. The more information we are given, the better the tailored package will be.

Past fete information would include:

* The commission the previous supplier handed in.
* Who was your previous supplier?
* What amusements did they provide?
* How much did they charge for individual tickets and how many were sold?
* How much was charged for presold armbands and how many were sold?
* How much was charged for “on the day purchased” armbands and how many were sold?

Different options suit different schools, which is why the package must be tailored to your particular needs.

For example, what is the spread of ages within the school community? Schools with an abundance of little children would consider having smaller rides be the bulk of their package. Schools with an abundance of larger children would consider having some of the larger rides for their event, whilst not forgetting the little folk.

Individual Tickets and Armbands (pre-sold and on the day)

Every amusement ride at the carnival will have an individual ride ticket that can be purchased. Major rides like the Hurricane, Sizzler, and Dodgem Cars are $7 per ride. The others are family rides and are $5 per ride. We do however, offer an “unlimited ride pass” which runs for the duration of the carnival. (Usually 4 to 5 hours).

As a “monster promotion”, there is nothing better! There are two types of unlimited ride passes available. That’s right, “All the rides you can handle for five hours for just $XX”. These are either purchased on the day, or before the event. The before the event armbands are cheaper to provide an incentive for patrons to commit to attendance early. Students and parents realise the benefits of buying an armband, as they can enjoy unlimited rides on their favourite attractions.

The key to any school carnival fundraiser is the sale of these pre-sold armbands. As a further incentive for your school community to purchase an armband before the day, apart from the excellent value it represents, we Sponsor you with a prize. Entry to this can only be through buying an armband before the day.
