It looks like “Who wants to be a millionaire” is not the only one to offer CASH as a stunning prize incentive. Carnival Land Amusements is currently offering schools the opportunity to be in a $100,000 Draw, simply by booking a school fete or event.
Carnival Land Amusements the fundraising experts, has been servicing South East Queensland School fund raising events for over a whopping 50 Years. It’s certainly one of the largest trade promotions launched by an amusement ride company and owner, James Kemp, says “50 years is a real milestone, and as a way of celebrating whilst thanking our huge client base and introducing new ones to our service, we decided to provide a meaningful incentive to each!”
James is referring to the fact that during these tough financial times, and the decreases in government spending on education, any school would benefit from winning a cash injection of $100,000. It could mean a substantial investment into the school, for example, new computers, air conditioning, sporting equipment, landscaping, playground shade covers, the list really is endless and only limited by the schools P&C imagination. What would you spend it on? What would the kids want to spend it on?
Carnival Land Amusements based on the south side of Brisbane, primarily services a 200km radius, North to the Sunshine Coast, West to Toowoomba, and South to the Gold Coast. With over 50 amusement rides, games and food options to choose from, this company can “do it all”, a real “one stop shop”.
HOW THE SCHOOLS CAN BE IN THE DRAW:
Entry into the Draw for schools is incredibly simple.
When a school books an event to occur between February 2017 and October 2017, they will receive one (1) entry per $1000 spent. (Only paid items qualify – any FOC items will not qualify.)
If the event is a new client and occurs before the end of June 2017, they actually double the amount of entries. That is two (2) entries per $1000 spent.
If the client is one of our many pre existing clients, as a reward they automatically receive two (2) entries per $1000 spent regardless of when their event occurs within the promotional period. (1/2/17 to 31/10/17)
There are no limitations to the number of entries. Therefore the more rides and amusements schools have at there event, or the more events they have, the more entries they receive in the $100,000 Draw.
Owner, James Kemp, explains, “This way, we have ensured that everyone has an opportunity to win $100,000 for their school from Carnival Land Amusements, whilst understanding the need to recognise our much valued existing clients.”
The promotion runs from October 2016 to October 2017.
On 2 November 2017, a preliminary draw will take place at Carnival Land Amusements Office. The winner of the Draw will be notified and invited to attend the $100,000 draw to be held at the winning schools location at 3pm 17th November 2017 (or at a date and time that suits both parties) in front of the whole school community. What a crowd that will draw!
The person or their nominated representative will be invited to choose one from 250 numbered envelopes. One of these envelopes will contain $100,000 and the others a consolation prize of a “Principles Rewards Day” for their school valued at $20,000.
James Kemp adds, “We appreciate that parents always want the best for their children, and parents on the School P&C’s love to fundraise to invest in a wide variety of school improvements. We believe we’ve always had a lot of reasons why schools should utilise our awesome services, but now, we reckon we have 100,000 more.”
